Asset Protection Demo

The use of RFID in the protection of assets is one of the major uses of the active tagging system. With a tag attached to your expensive assets ( ie: laptop computer, digital projector etc ) and a reader located at exit points it is possible to stop the unauthorised taking of any assets from any given site ( ie: Classroom, Conference room etc ) by either warning lights or locking of doors in a secure environment. The use of a Buddy System allows authorised personnel to remove items off site by allowing a master tag to permit the removal off site. This type of is utilised in museums and art galleries to protect expensive artifacts and paintings.
